I'd pop in my Tom Waits albums. Waits's voice seems perfectly appropriate to the end of the world.
I agree that I'd listen to Tom Waits, but I don't need a zombie invasion to listen to Tom Waits. I guess "Earth Died Screaming" from Bone Machine. I really like "Cold, Cold Ground" though.
I think that should be used in the marketing campaign of Tom Waits' next album:
"You don't need to wait for a zombie invasion to listen to Tom Waits."
